Many systems are already in the game and complete. Some are functionally complete but could use a little fleshing out to make them even better. Other systems still need to be added. It does bear mentioning that not all systems and features that I&#8217;m planning to add will make it into the game. In a perfect world, they would, but let&#8217;s just assume that they&#8217;re not guaranteed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-text-color has-foreground-color has-alpha-channel-opacity has-foreground-background-color has-background is-style-default\" style=\"margin-top:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30);margin-bottom:var(--wp--preset--spacing--30)\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WHAT&#8217;S IN THE GAME<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>10 Save Slots<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An <strong>auto-save system<\/strong> that you can adjust to save more or less frequently.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A <strong>questing system<\/strong> that gets you started on your adventures and guides you through the main story. This system also includes side quests so that you can help out and get to know fellow survivors better!<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A <strong>teleport system<\/strong> that allows you to open portals to stable (and sometimes unstable) world fragments. Once stabilized, you can claim fragments as your own or submit them for currency to the mysterious benefactor&#8217;s growing portal network. Be aware that if you don&#8217;t stabilize a fragment, it will eventually explode and disappear from the world.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An <strong>inventory system<\/strong> that expands as you unlock new story locations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Player skills<\/strong> revolving around these ingame tasks:  gathering, digging, fishing, crafting, mining and wood-chopping.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mount companions<\/strong> that you can send out on missions to gather materials for you (or keep them close to bail you if you need to flee combat.) You can also rename them, feed them, change their appearance, collect their poop (for making fertilizer in the Compost Pile), and use their saddlebags for storage. Mounts include: horse, fox, boar, wolf, bear, and bull.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A <strong>relic system<\/strong> that rewards you for playing the game and allows you to either teleport to otherwise inaccessible locations, activate useful auras, or cast special spells.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>NPCs to discover.<\/strong> Some NPCs you can banter with (to learn more about them), complete their side quests, &#8216;barter&#8217; with them, and buy from\/sell to them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A <strong>reputation system<\/strong> with factions and individual survivors that allows you to unlock special vendors, rewards, and content as you earn their favor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An <strong>achievement system<\/strong> that unlocks special rewards for progressing in different ways.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Titles and Subtitles<\/strong> to customize your character with. <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A <strong>message system<\/strong> that allows (non-player) survivors to send you messages with helpful hints (and sometimes with items that they think you could use.)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A <strong>journal<\/strong> that will provide you with helpful information to guide you through using different system in he game (though most should be pretty intuitive.) The bottom line is that I don&#8217;t want players to feel like there is no guidance in the game. It&#8217;s supposed to be fun and relaxing, not frustrating. \ud83d\ude09<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>WHAT&#8217;S PLANNED<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Player Talent Tree<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mount Talent Tree<\/strong> <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Mount Mini-games<\/strong> &#8211; A more hands on approach to leveling your mounts.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Expanded exploration<\/strong> beyond just summoning portals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Expanded quest system <\/strong>that includes daily quets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>A Laurel page<\/strong> (for bragging rights!)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Animal Keeping<\/strong> (not sure on the scope&#8230; will definitely have chickens)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Character Creation<\/strong> and the ability to modify your character during play-throughs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Heavy game customization<\/strong> in the sense that I want players to be able to customize the game through settings to fit their play style. This will be achieved by lots of useful game settings.
